Eucalyptus Cephalocarpa, “Silver Stringybark”
The Silver Stringybark is an excellent large low maintenance native tree for the Melbourne area and native to Victoria. It’s drought and frost tolerant once established and features silvery foliage, white flowers during Winter and interesting “stringy” fibrous bark.
These trees grow to a mature height of around 15m, so they make good shade trees or feature trees.
