European Privet, Common privet, Wild privet.
A semi-evergreen shrub used for instant low to medium hedging. It produces small white flowers that then turn into little blackberries. It can be trimmed to create formal box hedging and topiaries or lightly trimmed for a dense, green garden filler. Can also be kept in pots and planter boxes.

It also tolerates a wide variety of soils and conditions from full sun to part shade, sandy, loam or clay soils. It prefers a sunny position with well-drained soil for optimum performance.
