Eucalyptus cladocalyx ‘Vintage Red’, Black Leaf Eucalyptus
Vintage Red Eucalyptus is a new breed of Eucalyptus with beautiful deep red foliage. It makes a stunning feature tree with the contrast of rich purple red foliage and a powdery grey trunk.
Responds very well to pruning and would benefit from a loose, well draining soil. Full sun to part shade is preferred. If planted in a full afternoon sun position it would benefit from regular waterings during the summer. Grafted to grow to a maximun height of 6-8 meters. To use in screening, prune height back by one third each year once the trees are 3-4 years old.
