Pineapple Quince is an ancient variety that is a vigorous growing tree with extra large foliage, fruit harvests late, and a very nice flavour with a pineapple-like aroma. It is useful for baking, and jams, and makes a terrific quince jelly, and profuse ornamental blossom. These will cook up to a lighter colour than other quinces.
