Clivia miniata ‘Red’
A reliable performer under tough conditions, Clivia Red is a very good pick for a shady dry position. This evergreen clump forming plant with dark green strap like leaves produces large heads of orange/red flowers in spring once mature. Loves filtered light and lots of organic matter so its great for under planting trees or dark corners. Likes a restricted root run so also good for pots on deep verandahs and under the eaves. Dislikes frost and excess root disturbance.
