Red Habanero also has an intense sweetish flavour, it was the world’s hottest chilli before it was taken over by the ‘Red Savina’ in 1994. Its skin is thin and waxy with some wrinkling. Their pods have a distinctive lantern-like shape. Heat level: Super Hot!
