Camellia sasanqua
The Hiryu Camellia is a tall evergreen shrub that is bushy with dark, shiny foliage. The large, single flowers are deep red, with lighter shading at the centre and base of the petals making it really something quite unique.
Hiryu can be used for an informal hedge or screen. Will grow in either full sun or partial shade. Can be pruned to maintain shape.
