Bergenia cordifolia – Pigsqueak or Elephant’s Ears
A pretty shade-loving perennial that grows in a clumping manner. It has large, round, heart-shaped, dark green leaves that are tinted bronze in the cooler months. Pretty pink flowers arise from late winter to early spring. Can be used as a groundcover, but in a sheltered shady position with well-drained soil. Mature growth: 30cm x 40cm
