Japanese Hedge Bamboo is an evergreen bamboo that has a fast growth rate reaching heights of up to 4m and a width of 5m. Fine stems and foliage make it great for a privacy screen or hedge.
Japanese Hedge Bamboo can grow in semi-shaded or full shaded positions and likes moist soils. It is somewhat frost hardy. Ideal as a fast growing plant or if you wish to add an Asian feel to the garden or landscape it is planted in.
