Necklace Fern is a small groundcover fern with short rhizomes.
The stems bear green fan-shaped leaves with toothed edges on the broad tip. The tip of the stems (frond) can root and form a new plant and this helps it form colonies. Perfect in damp shady places under shady rock ledges, crevices, fallen logs, boulders in a range of soil types.
