Artichoke Purple is from Northern Italy, it produces fat, fleshy hearts that are considered decorative and good eating. Cut back hard after harvest for fresh new growth. Grows to approximately 1.6m in height. The violet heads are large and quite impressive. These plants are exotic and easy to grow.
