Acer palmatum ‘Butterfly’
Butterfly Japanese Maple is a different kind of maple, producing beautiful white margins on the leaves and constantly changing colors – pink, white, grey-green, scarlet and magenta – through the seasons.
Butterfly Maple grows into a perfect small tree 6 to 12 feet tall. In cooler areas it will do well in sun, and in warmer places give it more shade, especially in the afternoon. This variety is the perfect small tree for a tiny garden and it can even be grown in a container!
